An "Election"

We're holding something called an "election" in order to get a chance to ask the host a question. Apparently, many places in other worlds hold these elections to appoint their leaders; it's so "the people" get a choice in who represents them. Where I'm from, you're either born a leader or take it by force. What good do the people know? Nothing, that's what. They couldn't even tie their shoes if they tried - which is why they don't have shoes at all, I guess.

I would've done this alone, but the wolf kid who thinks we're friends now wouldn't leave me alone. Though I admit, having someone familiar with the concept is useful. At the very least, I can dedicate my energy to sabotaging others' campaigns. So far I've been burning every poster I see, but maybe I can set up some traps, too. Eliminating the competition is the most surefire way to win.

I don't really care about getting my question answered. It seems self-explanatory to me. But I'm set on winning, and to win this challenge, everyone else needs to like my question and buy into my campaign. My entire plan hinges on the belief that I'll be able to create a portal between my planet and home. If I can't, and I'm just stuck on the planet...

It's not that I wouldn't like that! I'll do anything to win this competition. I just hope the kingdom isn't falling apart without me. I wonder if mom and dad are worried ab Ugh. Whatever.

There's no way we won't win, anyways. Even if all else fails, no one can resist my control spell. It'll have them voting for us a zillion times each. Pretty sure that's a lot. Heheh.

All the people here are weird. I don't like them. Some are more bearable than others, but unfortunately it seems like only the annoying ones care to bother me. My teammates - well, my original teammates - are pretty nice. I prefer their company over most. We have more people on Team Storm, but I don't care about them (some weirdos and an ant). The three on the Orange Team, I think, seem like okay people to be around. Separately. The human man on the whatever team is fine, though he treats me like a kid and it's annoying. Be normal.

Wolf kid is... he's whatever. I guess I do like having someone my age around... but he's such a wannabe. It takes hard work to learn magic! You can't just... do it so easily! They said they have powers that are locked away or something but I don't believe them. Pretty sure their world doesn't even have magic. And now she's gonna want me to teach her magic! I don't have time for this. I'd just go to school if I wanted losers to ask me how to get good. Actually, now that I think about it, he kind of reminds me of someone...
